With the Holidays coming up quickly you might be feeling nervous about how you can stay on track with your health and fitness goals during the festive season. The good news is that you don’t have to avoid or miss out on decadent deserts with family and friends. This Molten Chocolate Cake recipe has no flour and can be made from scratch in no time. It’s so delicious.
- 4 oz dark chocolate (70% or higher)
- 1/4 cup organic butter, softened
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp organic sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Plain Greek yogurt to serve
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Melt chocolate and butter in a bowl placed over a pot of simmering water. Once melted remove from the heat and add the cocoa powder, stirring. In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla. Add the melted chocolate and stir until you have a smooth mixture. Pour on 4 oiled ramekins, place on a baking sheet and bake until the batter rises, no more than 10 minutes. Let cool for a couple of minutes and once they shrink a bit carefully invert them onto a plate.
Serve garnished with Greek yogurt and prepare for accolades from your loved ones.
